Techno news (from Australia)

We’re well into the start of the season now with the 1st events just around the corner. Here is some news and info regarding Techno for this season:

2010-11 Charter equipment available:

Glide Industries will be offering charter equipment for any sailor that needs equipment for any of the Australian Techno events this season. Click here for a charter booking form. Prices include delivery of equipment to each of the regattas, making for a really easy regatta. All you need to do is turn up and we’ll have your gear waiting for you. Click here for a list of events happening this season. Any one needing charter equipment should get back to us ASAP to reserve equipment.

Techno 293 World Champs:

The next world champs have been confirmed to take place at St Francis YC, San Francisco, USA, July 17-24th 2011. These dates work in really well for us as its winter time here. San Francisco is a fantastic location for the next World Champs and with more than 300 competitors expected to take part this will be an amazing experience.

Australian T293 Class Association:

We are currently looking for parents of sailors to become a part of the nwly forming Australian Techno 293 Association. Thre is not a lot of time and/or effort required to be a part of the Assocaition, we’re looking for people to take the roles of President, Treasurer and Secretary, if you are interested in becoming involved please get in contact with me on info@glideindustries.com
